- Beat the egg, oil and milk together.
- Make a well in the centre of the flour mix and pour in the milk mix.
- Beat until it forms an even batter. The batter will be thick. Stir in vanilla essence.
- Leave to rest at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.
- Pour the batter into a waffle iron and cook until the waffle is golden.
- Serve with fresh fruits and whipped cream.
