Directions
0/0 steps made- Prep the salmon by removing the skin and bones, if any.
- Cut the salmon fillets into 1-1½” cubes. Add the teriyaki marinade, mix well, and set aside for 30 minutes. I use store-bought (Ayam’s Teriyaki marinade).
- Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan over high heat until golden. Set aside.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add some salt. Add the soba noodles and cook on high heat for about 5 minutes (tender but not mushy). Immediately drain and run under cold water to stop the cooking process.
- In a serving bowl, mix vinegar, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Add the spring onions and noodles. Toss to combine.
- Add sesame seeds and red chili flakes. Mix well.
- Add cooking oil to a medium frying pan and cook the salmon pieces on medium heat for 4 mins on each side. I like to lightly char the salmon’s outer skin. Rest for 2-3 mins.
- Serve the salmon on top of the noodles.
