0/0 steps made- Heat oven to 180 degrees centigrade.
- Grease muffin cups/tray. If you don’t have a muffin tray/cups (like me) you can take a cupcake tray and line that with butter paper. The walls of the butter paper should be high.
- In a bowl mix butter until creamy. Add sugar and beat until pale and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
- Beat in vanilla, baking powder and salt.
- With a spoon fold in half of the flour and then half of the milk into the batter. Repeat with the remaining half of flour and milk.
- Fold in blueberries and cranberries.
- Spoon into muffin cups and sprinkle topping onto each muffin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes; until golden brown and springy to touch.
