- Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla essence till creamy.
- Add orange juice and zest.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating after every addition.
- Add flour mix. Mix well.
- Stir in the chopped figs and hazelnuts to the dough.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Spoon out into lined baking tray.
- Bake for 8-11 minutes.
- Cool for 10 mins before serving.
