0/0 steps made- Wash the okra. Pat dry. Cut into fine slices (not too fine, but not too thick either).
- Heat oil (don’t be stingy!) in a large frying pan.
- Add cumin seeds and fry for a few seconds before you add the okra.
- Add salt and chilli flakes. Cook on medium heat till water dries and the okra gets crispy. Do not stir too often or the okra will get slimy.
- Remove excess oil.
- Add fried onions.
- Serve with roti or rice. Pairs well with lentils (masoor daal).
